Jaslok Hospital and Research Center, Mumbai, India A girl with neuropsychiatric lupus demonstrated Parkinsonian features soon after commencing risperidone. The single photon emission computed tomography scan showed hyperperfusion of the basal ganglia. Symptoms abated with the addition of dopaminergic agents to immunosuppressive therapy.
